We'd rather have fun without the rules but as with any group of people coming together there needs to be a set of base rules to ensure a fair and pleasant community.

Reading these rules is left up to you, but they are here and you will be expected to abide by them.

Rules

1. Respect your fellow members and other Aion players.
We expect everyone to have a good time with each other. We want to joke and laugh with each other but not at other players expense. We hope you don't mean to offend anyone but we understand this sometimes happens unintentionally. If you are offended just politely tell the person they are doing so. Do not continue on if you are offending a fellow player.

2. Speak maturely.
- No sexual innuendo, crude references, or suggestions, even in jest. This includes your toons' and their allies' names.
- No jokes or insults involving real-life gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, nationality, etc.
- No bashing other legion members whom you feel may have done you wrong. Grievances should be addressed privately to an Officer through a private message on the forums or in vent. Your best possible option would be a private message on our website so it will not get overlooked. Disputes will not be displayed publicly or within the legion chat channels.
- No rude or immature behavior in public chat channels.
- No negative comments about others' play style or skills, no blame for wiping quests. Please give, and be receptive of, polite suggestions for better play.
- No use of real life names, or any names other than toon names in legion chat, to avoid the impression of cliques or favoritism.

3. Do not use your fellow members for personal gain.
Items offered in legion chat to fellow legion members are assumed to be for your personal need only, not for resale.

4. We frown upon "buying" kinah.
It's against NCSoft's rules to "buy" kinah. Do not promote it or talk about it. If you buy gold, please do so without anyone's knowledge. If you are caught doing so you will be kicked from Maleficent.

5. Disciplinary Measures
Removing someone from the legion is at the discretion of the leadership and officers. If we think you bring negativity to our community, we will ask you to leave with no hard feelings. We will do what is necessary to maintain a friendly play environment.

6. Please be fair with your looting rules in group.
